thermal printing industry again with the M-Class printer line.
The M-Class offers users a durable, technologically advanced thermal printer
with the design principles
that have proven successful in other Datamax printers, in a smaller footprint
for use in emerging market
applications. The M-Class consists of the M-4206, an entry-level industrial
printer for
value-conscious customers, and the M-4208 and M-4306, high-performance models
with LCD display and
expanded option sets.
While a printer's design and construction
is key to its durability, the ability to interface with an existing or new
system is what enables truly seamless integration into any application.
Standard connectivity interfaces for the M-Class include an RS-232 serial port,
an IEEE 1284 compliant, bi-directional parallel port, and a USB port. Network
users have many options, including a fully integrated, highly functional
internal Ethernet card, or a more economical external Ethernet port. Datamax
also offers DMXConfig, a desktop configuration tool that allows users to
retrieve, modify, and update the printer's configuration without entering the
